:: Carina & Kevin : Whistlebear Golf Club Wedding :: Cambridge ::

flowers were such an important element to Carina's wedding.  me being a perfectionist floral designer and her being an event planner herself, all the bases were covered when it came to décor!!

we went big and I mean big for the head table design.  a 20ft arbor constructed & hung from the ceiling in the Grandview room & terrace at Whistle Bear Golf Club in Cambridge.  designed with a ton of curly willow, layered with white & cream florals like hydrangea, roses, dahlia & mums, draping with 3 types of eucalyptus, waxflower and babies breath.  it was a stunning piece that all the guests loved!!

their extra large double wide & lengthy head table featured 4 very lush arrangements along with the cylinder vases with floating candles creating a very romantic atmosphere.  rose petals were strewn between the flowers and the girls bouquets.

a sprig of silver dollar eucalyptus adorned each and every one of the 200 guests plate settings, and was the perfect way to tie everything together.

being as it was a June wedding, the girls bouquets were chalked full of peonies!!  roses, ranunculus, freesia, blush berries, stock, dusty miller and more euc :)

the weather was perfect for this amazing couples love to blossom!!  congratulations Carina & Kevinxoxo

| Jen & Jim | a romance made in the stars | Paletta Mansion

Geez where do I start with these two lovable, sweet, humble and made my face hurt from laughing human beings!!  Jen & Jim are the types of people that you gravitate too, pulling you in with their genuine character, entertaining you with their stories & making you a lifelong friend with the ability to be relaxed and have an amazing time together!!!  It's no wonder that the universe put these two souls together xoxo...they complete one another so perfectly!!  Ok enough about the lovebirds...let's talk flowers!! lol

Theirs was a spring wedding on the lake at the refined Paletta Mansion heritage home in Burlington.  With the sun doing its best to heat the outdoor patio for the ceremony, and the rain holding off just long enough to say their vows, I got to witness first hand these two best friends become husband & wife!!  A few floral pieces decorated the altar & mason jars filled with blooms lined the asile.

The girls bouquets were a soft mixture of blooms like roses, stock, Picasso callas, snap dragons, freesia, lizzy, dahlia, peonies, and a little dusty miller. I loved the contrast of the light & dark purple tones!!  Again don't be afraid of colour ladies!!  Tin pails filled with lush florals decorated the guest tables upstairs in the quaint and cozy reception.

The night was filled with so much love, their family and friends being just as genuine as Jen & Jim, and so proud to be a part of this next chapter in their love story!!  We drank, we danced, we laughed!!   xoxo

| Ally & Brandon celebrate their LOVE! | Dundurn Castle | Spring Wedding

Ally & Brandon were married tis past April at Dundurn Castle, and had a reception at Carmen's in Hamilton.  It was quite chilly with our winter demanding to hang on for yet another weekend into spring.  Although Ally was cold, she certainly radiated with her Love for Brandon as you can see through the talented eyes of Alisia of Scarlet Lens Photography!!

Ally's bridesmaids wore a floral print along side the handsome men who wore navy suits.  We chose to go with a bold colour palette in her bouquets and it was stunning!!  I love those brides who aren't afraid of deep shades of blooms.  Natural blue, white, cream, shades of pink & coral flowers with grey dusty miller.  Ohara garden roses, thistle, ranunculus, stock, coral roses and the sweet smell of lilac made up the bridal parties bouquets.

With a last name like Corke, Brandon wanted "cork" bouts for the guys and I was happy to oblige.  They turned out awesome!!  xo

They also left me some love too...check it out :)
