:: amanda & rob : the farm by earth to table :: carried away by love

last winter I visited Toronto & 5 days out from Christmas Amanda & Rob booked their flowers for their summer wedding at The Farm by Earth to Table in Flamborough.  The Farm is just a beautiful rustic venue!!  From the outdoor ceremony space featuring a large wooden arbor, to the barn reception hall with chiavari chairs, dark mahogany wood rectangular guest tables and a killer view of fresh open space through the floor to ceiling windows.

the winds were very strong that day which changed up the arbor décor slightly, but it was so much fun and turned out perfect!!  the top of the arbor had 3 large pieces and lush bouquets were placed down the side, then brought in to decorate the head table afterwards.

the girls bouquets were so soft with layers of blush roses & dahlia, grey dusty miller with some white blooms that just popped against their light pink dresses.  this was a beautiful group of girls, the flowers were just a bonus :)

the tables had mason jar arrangements of roses, rosemary, hydrangea, babies breath and dahlia.

I will be back at The Farm soon & I can't wait to be back and do it all over again!!

Christa's ideal wedding vision came to life!!!!   The beautiful outdoor ceremony was to have a huge hand crafted wooden altar lushly decorated with a ton of greens, hanging amaranthus, lilies and hydrangea.  The cocktail hour would include arrangements on the tables as well as 3 huge gold mirrors adorned with flowers.  This theme carried through into the dining area and a very stunning head table display.  The table designs were low and full filled with deep burgundy's, white hydrangea, rose and more!!  The head table was a spectacle as the decorated altar was carried in after the ceremony to stand behind the newly married couple!!  The head table consisted of tall cylinder vases with vanilla pillar candles, the bridal party bouquets of course, and a spread of flowers draping down the table itself.  When lit in the evening it created a romantic, soft and warm ambiance.

I had a blast designing Christa & Bram's wedding!!  I was like a kid in a playground with all the elements of their wedding decor!!!

Congratulationsxoxo

"Please make my bouquet larger than life with the flowers just bursting out, looking like they were just hand picked from a garden."     -Stephanie

OK !!!   DONE !!!  I was happy to oblige :)

Snaps, lizzy, roses, stock, myrtle, seeded euc, dusty miller, wax flower & dahlia were arranged in a loose, rustic garden style with long pieces of satin ribbon draping

The ceremony took place at St. Lawrence Church with the reception at Michelangelos Banquet Hall in Hamilton.
